I’m Rachel, as you might have guessed by now.

As the daughter of double Trekkies, I was doomed from the start in the nerd department. If you want to geek out, I’m your girl!

My greatest dream is to own a house with an enormous library and a maze of hidden passageways.

I love to read, particularly YA books or fantasy, and my idea of heaven is sitting on a warm tropical beach with a fruity drink and a book in hand.

I’ve always loved coming up with stories of my own, and from a young age dreamed of having my own book on shelves next to some of my favorites (Please don’t ask me about any of my 6-year-old self’s stories. They’re terrible). That dream still lives, and I want to blog about writing to keep a record of the progress I’m making (or not).
